Big Changes for SDC in the works?

Spoke with two agents who cryptically told me that big changes were coming to the SDC program. They clearly have all been briefed but said they were not allowed to share details. Anyone with an inside track know what the changes are? Will we be happier or more frustrated with whats coming down the pike?

Thanks!

Well we could think positively and hope for 24 hours...

But knowing DL, we will probably get some type of enhancement like, new fees to SDC, or only the ability to SDC if the same fare bucket exists....

lol. So two agents say they were not allowed to share details, but you are asking on a public forum for "insiders" to share details. You do have a sense of humor .

We all know that FT is where the big news breaks! Those of us with a sense of humor hold our breath for big hitters like you to inform the rest of us. Funny, right?

Here's hoping the enhancement is not the $75 I have to pay as an EXP on AA to do SDC.

Ouch! Yeah, hope it's not that.

Perhaps it's a good move like moving all SDC passengers to the bottom of the upgrade list.

That would be great. Or I would be happy with even being able to SDC online or on my phone app instead of having to call Delta.

I would be happy if I could actually book a flight on the first attempt on DL.Dumb.

Guess: fare based SDC

Everything seems to be moving towards a fare basis - the more you spend, the more flexibility you're "rewarded" with. So you pay a fee if for cheap economy fares, and the fee is waived for high yield fares.

Just a guess.

My guess would be no SDC for E fares, and maybe also for X and V, so nothing below sLUT is changeable at all. Sort of like deep discount coach fares exEU.
