We wanted to let you know about our new rate announcement first, since we know that many of you are members of Delta Sky Clubs. Later today, we will be updating our paid membership rates for new and renewing members. Information will be on delta.com shortly.
Over the last two years, we’ve invested more than $20 million in Delta Sky Clubs. This includes opening new clubs and renovating existing clubs, removing conference rooms to provide more seating, introducing the Luxury Bar and, of course, the recently announced Sky Decks that will open in Atlanta and JFK later this year.
So that we can continue delivering upgrades and amenities like these, for the first time in three years, we find it necessary to adjust our membership rates. As of March 1, 2013 our rates will increase by no more than $50 per 1 year membership per person. This change will not impact your current membership contract. Full details on the increase will be available at delta.com/skyclub shortly.
We wanted you to be the first to know about this change so that you can renew under the existing rates before March 1 before the new rates go into effect in March.
Thank you for your continued loyalty and we look forward to continuing to improve the Delta Sky Clubs.

Can we assume that Reserve card holders and AmEx regular Platinum and Centurion card members can continue to access SkyClubs when flying SkyTeam and DL respectively?

I have an actual SC membership that I obtained about 9 months before I hit DM. I am DM this year and, unless I have a drastic job change, I will be DM at least until 2015.
My questions is, could I "renew" my membership now at the current rate, even though it wouldn't matter or take effect, for at least another year?
---UPDATE---
Never mind, I just spent 5 seconds on the DL website and answered my own question:
"* As a Diamond Medallion you will receive complimentary membership for the duration of your Diamond Medallion status. You may renew your Delta Sky Club membership before your Diamond status expires and take advantage of this special renewal rate. The complimentary membership term will be added on to your current purchased membership term."

Hi, will you send me a PM with your SM info please and I'll track this down for you.

And will this change impact the annual fee on any of those cards?
