List your Status, MQM, and MQD for 2012

With the announced changes, would be great to get everyone to list their 2013 status level along with their 2012 Delta spend, how many MQM's they earned, etc. then look back and see where we all stand with MQD's.
  • 2013 Status & MQM's
  • 2012 DL/Skyteam Spend
  • Estimated MQD - subtract taxes and non DL coded/ticketed flights. Or just count it all if, given the new policy, you would have purchased it coded/ticketed differently.
  • Notes/Extra: give an idea of what the travel mostly was (i.e. domestic econ, domestic first, international econ/business, mileage runs, mix of a few, etc)

For me:
  • 2013 Status: Diamond, 128k MQMs including 12k rollover.
  • 2012 Spend: $10,625 (includes $600 in change fees)
  • Estimated MQD: 8,185 (subtracted change fees and taxes. all flights would have qualified)
  • Notes: all domestic, with one hawaii RT. 70% is on LUT fares, 25% on KQH fares, 5% on discounted first. No mileage runs, all business travel except for Hawaii. In all it was 24 round trips out of SFO/SJC mostly to midwest or east coast locations.

Based on my total spend (what counts to ME), I'm spending $0.092 per MQM. Delta will credit me for $0.071 per MQM, leaving me well short. I'll need to spend roughly 30% more per ticket in order to qualify.

Diamond, 128k MQM
22k spend - lots of itnl of various distance and prices, but mostly B and S fares.

Well over 25k on my DL Reserve card - I will actually be fine under the new rules.

2013 Status: Platinum, 95K MQMs including 2K rollover and, 15K MQMs from DL Reserve card
2012 Spend: $10,577
Estimated MQD: $8,170

Notes: All domestic from regional airport, where .10cpm+ is pretty normal due to high fares. Most on LUT fares. Two trips to west coast on M fares and 2 late booked Y fares for last minute trips to CHI. No international or Hawaii last year.

MQD ended up being closer to the threshold than I expected. I usually make the extra miles on my DL Reserve, so it probably won't matter, but it's good to know, as I need to make sure I make it now even if the earned MQMs just rollover.

Diamond,$11,000 spend. 127,000 miles
$120,000 Reserve Card spend

Because of my Reserve Cards no impact to me.

I'll continue to be a platinum BIS traveler stretching to Diamond via Amex. And pissing off the road warriors who end up after me on the upgrade list.

MQM: ~129,000 (+11k rollover)
MQD: ~18,000 (including taxes here, so not sure what the actual MQD would be)

I think the MQD levels are pretty low, but they definitely weed out those that make on pure MR

DM, 145K MQM in 2012 (21K carryover), $11,000 spend, about $8K MQD

I funnel my CC $ all to Hilton AmEx, as diamond room upgrades are a huge benefit to my mostly leisure travel. I'd have to think long and hard about shifting all that spend to DL AmEx, since I can't split and make the thresholds.

MQD: Est 22K (Spent roughly 27K on flights).

Luckily my job entails a lot of one-way fares so I should be good.

2012:

MQMs: 14.9K Rollover + 35K MQMs, earned FO + 24.9K rollover (GM until 2/28/2013).
MQD spend: don't know, likely under $2500 (only flew 25K on DL, rest on awards), but $25149 spent on DL Plat Amex so doesn't matter.
