Transcon flights moving to JFK T4??

Logged in to view some upcoming trips and noticed that DL.com is now showing flights departing from T4.

The first is a JFK-PDX that departs this Saturday (Jan. 19)

The second is a JFK-SFO that departs next Friday (Jan. 25)

Is this a glitch, or will we start to see more flights leaving T4 in the near future?

Interesting, I just looked at my JFK-PHX flight for this weekend and it also says T4. Return still says T3 though.

So is there an airside SC in T4 yet?

Also checked the DL app and it says DL1345 JFK-PHX on Saturday, Jan 19 leaving terminal 4 Gate B22. So if it is a glitch, it's both on Dl.com and the app.

Also, looks like today's DL1345 flight is departing from T4 B30. So I'm beginning to believe it's not a glitch.

Thats going to be really annoying if they actually are going to keep some tcons out of T4. No SC, and you get to take that crappy bus if you have a connection.

For LAX-JFK this past Sunday I arrived in T2, but noticed there were JFK-LAX flights departing from T4.

I'm not sure the bus is that big of a deal if you have SC access...is it? Would the Oasis Lounge in T4 be an option?

Glad I saw this thread! I'm DL120 JFK/LAX tomorrow at 9AM (anyone else on it? ) and it shows Term 2 today and tomorrow.

My recent experience at the Oasis at T-4, which I reported in another thread, I tried 2 days in a row . . . .

First day, I had arrived on JetBlue, staying in NYC, and had to do the walk of shame. They told me that I needed a DL BP.

Next day flying DL to PIT, I tried again and was turned away again. I was told that I needed an int'l BP to get in - and was told that this was a recent change. Maybe with a bona-fide BE transcon BP - who knows!

Also, since I'll be arriving at T2/3 from PIT, and the Oasis is outside of security, I'm not really sure it would be worth the hassle.

Take the AirTrain to whichever parking lot you chose.

I flew JFK-SLC out of T4 earlier this month for the first time. There was also a SFO flight a few gates over.

I have flown JFK-LAS out of T4 before in fake-BE and had no issues with access to the Oasis lounge.

Oasis is outside security, meaning you have to allocate enough time for the TSA mess if you want to go there.

Even with Sky Priority you can have quite a long wait due to the sheer number of pax going through. Most of the airlines in T4 use larger aircraft, so there can simply be a lot of F/J and elite pax.

Yes - thanks for that pearl of wisdom. If I wanted to take the train, I wouldn't drive.

Obviously AirTrain is an option, but major inconvenience
