Not a huge margin of error. DTW is my home airport, you may want to ask others about your connection.
if your plane is a few minutes late,
if they don't get the ramp connected quickly
If you aren't seated near the door
If your flight from A closes the door ten minutes before departure
Good luck tomorrow

IMO it's a tight connection for you, given that you must take the tunnel. It will help if you're seated in the front of the first plane. Remember that you must be on board 10-15 minutes before scheduled departure, so that leaves about twenty minutes to deplane, navigate the B/C terminal, go through the tunnel, and make it to your A gate by either the little train or walking and using the moving walkways. There's no time to spare and no cushion if your first flight is delayed or DL is slow to park, position the jetway, and open the door. It's worse if you must wait for a valet checked bag.

Thanks all. I'm seated in the front row of the aircraft, and I'm coming from SBN, so only a 30-minute flight for what's scheduled for an hour. So actually may have 60 minutes of connection time if all is on schedule.
I have a 33 minute connection from CRJ to mainline, C to A coming up in a couple hours. I'll be trucking it through the tunnel. No gate-checked bags though, and I'm a marathon runner. I'm feeling good about my odds. :-)
but not 100%. Connected there last week on a IAH>DTW>PVD trip. Checked 3 bags in IAH, two made it onto our DTW>PVD flight. The other one was on a later flight. Some random data points:
Did SDC from a later flight that would have been through ATL.
Had about 45 minutes in DTW. Longer actually since the IAH>DTW flight was early.
Both legs were on RJ's
Arrived in B and left from C

Sorry, should have been more clear. I will check my rollerboard in SBN. I have one small carry-on. So I don't have to wait in any pink tag bags. I can jump off and sprint
