Funny evidence some DM agents work from home

Diamond Line phone call interrupted by...Barking Dog?!

I guess there is proof that DM agents work from home. Was on the phone with an agent today and all of a sudden I hear a screeching chair and a barking dog in the background, to which the agent starts to laugh, clearly embarrassed, and asks if I could hold for a moment. She returns saying she is usually quiet

The agent was incredibly helpful and I honestly couldn't care less, but it was worth a good laugh this morning.

If that's the case, then I think several FT members should apply to be DM line agents . I can see it now, you call and get mtkeller: "Okay, that will be 120k miles and $548 in fees. Wait a second, that seems high... hold on a minute while I track down all these charges. <10 min hold> Okay, great new! Your fees are now $376 and we removed some necessary YQ that KE was adding on to your ticket."

Thanks for sharing!! .

As long as they get things DONE, it's all good, even if fido makes himself known once in awhile.

I've had incredibly good service from one SLC diamond line agent who was working from home. She actually called me back on an issue.
And although I do miss talking to the rangers from Chisholm, I've had great service from the SLC diamond agents in general.

The post prompted me to do a google search --
found this from the work at home mom forum site, bit old but -- http://www.wahm.com/forum/telecommut...air-lines.html

Does that mean that once the int'l fleet has wifi, that a phone agent will be able to put in an 8 hour shift whilst non-revving from BE on DTW/LHR???

So, are we saying this is bad or good or what? Not sure I get the point of the thread. I think it is a very smart business decission. Witht the software availble these days there is no reason for a call center agen to drive into an office and sit in a cramped cube all day.

Neither good nor bad...just funny that the dog made him(her)self heard during the OP's call with the DM agent.

Got it. I have had this happen many times including to myself when working from home. We have a lot of critters in our area and my dog gets a little crazy sometimes and is very loud!

Unrelated....are you on the AA Customer Forum? Your name is familiar.
