Bets. Will Delta screw VAs service
So how many think Delta will change VA from among the best to Delta's among the worst?

What does DL have to do with VA (Virgin Australia, including domestic Australian routes that were formerly Virgin Blue) service? Could you mean VS (Virgin Atlantic, Branson's TATL service), where DL is trying to purchase 49%?

I wonder if the OP has flown AF lately. My last CDG-BOS flight had me wishing I had flown CDG-AMS-BOS or CDG-LHR-BOS so the TATL leg would be on DL metal with a DL crew. And this was in J!

Well to answer OP (fellow Cardinal?) -- Delta management was explicit in their investor day presentation that they need to be more like VA in terms of service perception and quality. Whether they continue to execute on that front...they've been going in the right direction the last two years.

I recently flew AA on a TATL route less than a month ago, it was the first time I flew non-SkyTeam metal in almost two years.
Never again. Sometimes you learn the hard way.
DL is tops in service compared to the legacy carriers.

Wasn't it about two years ago, that DL had set it sights on being a "premium carrier" in Asia? How'd that work out?
It's easier to change the hardware than it is to inculcate a service mentality that matches that of SQ, TG, CX, or others. Maybe if they replace their FAs with employees from the Ritz-Carlton.

You hit the nail on the head. Not sure if Delta FAs are union, but if not maybe they could hire some Asian FAs (from Asia, not ones who've lived in the US) for the Asian routes ... works for SQ!

Error VS - Virgin Atlantic
Delta: FAs on international senior with "tired of flying", BC still sucks.
If I platinum book ticket with wife (FF) - upgrade only at one day. US Air at highest level = 7 days.
Delta used to give platinums then gold then silver first choice on food, now often last depending where you sit.
United guarantees seat (even if overbooked) for their top level. (delta used to during the days they bobbed the sings over Monroe)
As for AA
