That's right, yes. I always used it for regular flights as well. Never any line.
It was the DLS check-in. DL discontinued its Shuttle as part of the slot swap. They were acommodating you at the DLS as a courtesy, but have no reason to maintain a second check-in facility anymore.

DL moved out from this spot. MWAA then knocked out some walls and expanded the B security check point. That space is now the new Pre-check/crew/military lane.
DL did expand the metro bridge check in area with more desks and at least 10 kiosks, as a result.
So if i'm on the precheck list should i go to that new lane or go to the Sky Priority lane I usually go to?
Go to the Sky Priority Lane, and when you get up to the TSA desk, and your boarding pass "pops" they direct you to the right where the precheck line is.
FYI, many skypri's think their precheck, but get turned to the "left" regular skypriority lane if their BP doesn't "pop".

I don't think that's correct. The check-in area that we are discussing was on the right side of the B security checkpoint, and the Pre-Check line is on the left side of the checkpoint.

The signage has been updated with the new space opening. I would take a pic but cameras pointed at TSA checkpoints are probably frowned upon.

Just went through yesterday. Happy Thanksgiving!
You can go right to the PreCheck lane. I've never had a problem with this. On the one or two rare occasions I didn't get precheck they just let you go to the right instead of the left of the podium. It's no big deal.
The shuttle check in stand closed so DCA could expand the security checkpoint. There's still a checkin on the mid-tier level by the metro station.
