Thumbs down

I looked into this (I'm a lowly Silver within 15k of Gold - and my Patriots are playing at Wembley Stadium on the 28th).

The cheapest r/t fare I could find (ex-LAX) was an M fare - $3,663.90.

And that's with no upgrade availability. Are they high??

I will go to my grave never understanding airline fares.

You'll earn bonus miles for paid BusinessElite® and select premium Economy Class round-trip travel
to Heathrow from the U.S. on flights taken between October 1, 2012, and January 31, 2013.

So what flights does Delta have that have Premium Economy class? I thought it was just AF & KLM in Skyteam that had PE class.

Maybe this promo is a sign that bookings ex-US to LHR are soft.
However, if you must fly biz anyway this promo gives a welcome mileage boost. Otherwise, I would hold off for a much better deal down the road.

Not that great... BOS-LHR is running 861 in U, or 3.2k in S, which is cheaper than the M fare.

Wait, I'm confused. Do you have to fly Y/B/M or paid J? Or do you get an extra bonus for those?

I'm pretty excited about this one. It will be 100,000 incremental miles w/o changing my behaviour

Seems pretty clear to me.

Good promo for those that already fly premium fares to LHR, but I doubt its going to change the travel behavior of anyone who wouldn't normally book the expensive tickets.
