For those of you who didn't have the distinct pleasure of knowing him, he was honestly one of the most genuine, down to earth and delightful people I'd ever met.
I had the ability to travel with him a few times to very fun locales and he always had a smile and positive outlook.
Those of of you who met him at the ATLDO and our LAS Mini-Do and know that he LOVED Delta... probably more than he should have sometimes He was SO excited that he hit Diamond last year and enjoyed spending time on the 764's more than anyone I know.
Here's to you my good friend, I'll be drinking a Mai Tai on the beach in Honolulu for you...

Wow, I guess he was young also. Terribly sad whatever the circumstances were.

I had the great opportunity to have met DLNYC and consider him a friend.
The words that vuelos mentions above are as spot-on as you can get when describing DLNYC.
Earlier this year, we had both announced (coincidentally) that we were joining the same industry...one that we both loved and we were both extremely excited about or futures. DLNYC was always a great conversation, and I can't underscore the unique positive energy that he had...being around him meant it was going to be a blast.
I'll have a drink at the JFK SkyClub this weekend before walking over the Sky Priority carpet just for you my friend.
