Delta in flight Cheeseburger.

I find it to be the best meal in the sky, even compared to international flight food. I don't know if it's because it's really good, or just that it more closely represents what it is represented to be, where most airline food is just bland chewy garbage, although there was a grilled turkey sandwich that was pretty good, but I haven't seen it for a while.

Strangely I've only been offered the burger LAX-MSP-LAX, which for some reason always increases my chances of MX and misconnects..

Yup! Had one SLC-BWI a couple weeks ago and was surprised how good it was.

Is that a First class menu item, or a buy-on-board item in Y?

I briefly saw the cheeseburger last month on a SJC-MSP flight. The guy next to me ate it so fast that I barely got a look. Either the burger was that good or he just eats at the same light speed as my 16-year old son.

Interesting.. Haven't had the chance to try this. Any info if TPAC flights in Y have this?

I've been fortunate to have the burger on several flights... seems to be served at lunch hours when a flight is long for hot food choices (1500+).
Seen it on SJC-MSP (which strangely the 12:15pm vanished from the schedule in Dec) and also on LAS-ATL and SFO-ATL at lunchtime.

I think what makes it so good is that its actually a good amount of meat, heated separately form the buns and then the condiments on the side so you can build your own. Good thick juicy burger with toasty warm wheat bun, and its hot enough to melt the cheese. Yum.

Only had it once but I really liked it (much better than the pizza I normally get)

I've had it a few times now and like it, but always wonder why the bottom bun is consistently harder than the top bun. But hey, I eat it. And I always ask for a side of Sun Chips.

It's my favorite meal served at lunchtime! I wish though that there was an alternative to the potato salad--to me, it's tasteless.

I wonder how it compares with Alaska's Buy on Board Cheeseburger. Love that one ^
