Amex Removes Miles Boost for DL Gold Amex
From my statement this month:
"Starting next year, we will no longer offer a Miles Boost benefit based on the amount of your annual eligible purchases. Accordingly, effective January 1, 2012, the How you can receive a Miles Boost each year section of the Supplement to your Cardmember Agreement describing How your Reward Program Works is deleted."
Can someone please remind me why this card is worth $95 a year now??
Edit: This is for the Delta Gold Amex; reports say other cards were not affected.

Well, I guess now we know how they are paying for the new 20% off inflight purchases benefit.
I can't believe they are also doing away with pay with miles for the gold card.... The 1 cent/mile redemption rate was already pretty poor... but now there will be one less way to burn through Skymiles
