DL A330 Domestic at all?

Just wondering if DL will have any domestic flights with these birds.

Outside of MSP/DTW/ATL-HNL, none at this time.

Equipment swaps do tend to pop up every now and then - SEA-MSP sees a good number of them.

ATL does have 777 service to DTW and LAX, and it's not unusual for 777s to pop up on JFK-ATL (and there are scheduled 767-300ERs on that route too).

According to FlightAware, there's a Delta A330-300 in the air right now MSP-PHX:

It happens for sport events to get a A330 into PHX, rare though! PHX only gets domestic fleet usually (rarely a BE B757 will fly the route)

+1 I was on one last week from MSP-SEA. It's a great bonus.

Delta Flight 2440 MSP-DTW was an A330-300 yesterday. Normally it's a B757-300.

SEA-ATL seems to be an A332 every Monday. The flight number keeps changing, though (but it's still 11:45am). The wife and kids are flying BF on the 21st. I was surprised to find it, and booked it in BUP immediately.

Wow, good find. I was just on the 11:xx am flight from SEA-ATL last Monday and it was a domestic 763. No A330 in the schedule at the time.

It appears the A332 will operate between SEA/ATL on Mondays through at least August. I have checked the end of Sept and it's already out of the schedule.

Here's the other piece of good news - at least on Mondays the BusinessElite configured 767 will continue to do one turn on the SEA/ATL route. This is in addition to the A332 on Mondays through July/August; but the BE 767 continues at least through October.

PS - you can always tell the difference between domestic and BE configured 767's on Delta.com by looking at the Equipment Type. The domestic 767 will be listed as "Boeing 767-300" while the BE configured 767 will be listed as "Boeing 767". Most of you probably already know that though.

From 01JUL10 to 13AUG10, DELTA is to operate Airbus A330-200 aircraft on Atlanta – Los Angeles DL1755/1554 service. From 14AUG10, 767-300 operates this flight pair.

Boeing 777-200LR aircraft has been pulled out from this route for Summer on this route, and is operating one-way Atlanta to Detroit.
