I wonder if this is just a hiccup in the system. My flight from BHM-ATL-LAX-PDX shows as "1", that is ONE MQ Segment. In the past they have posted to my account as BHM-ATL = 1, ATL-LAX = 1 and LAX-PDX = 1. Now thinking this might just be something that will clear itself up, I have not said anything. Last night I notice that PDX-ATL-BHM also showed up as 1 MQ segment.
Maybe they changed the rules and I didn't notice. That is possible, I can't read everything that gets posted. Well I could, but that would be a job in and of itself.
Calculation of Mileage Credit for Air Travel
The amount of mileage earned for air travel flown while you are a SkyMiles member will be calculated as follows:
On nonstop and direct flights, mileage credited will be calculated based upon the distance from origin to final destination, regardless of the number of stops.
On connecting flights that require a change of plane and flight number, mileage credited will be calculated based upon the distance from origin to destination for each segment of the trip. However, use of connecting itineraries in lieu of nonstop and/or direct flights for the accumulation of additional mileage is not permitted. Delta reserves the right to limit mileage credit for an itinerary to the number of connecting flights actually traveled or the maximum number of segments shown in Delta's published schedule for a connection between any two cities, whichever is less.
It seems to indicate that a segment is still Origination-Destination and therefore I would have had 3 segements and 2 segments not 1 and 1.
Something scary looking in there is that now they can take our multicity multisegment flights and combine them and only credit what a direct flight would have been. In the example above, it would not apply, there is not any direct flights between BHM and PDX on DL.

Has anyone else noticed this?
Have you checked to see what is reported on the NWA website? Skymiles.com has not shown ANY segment credit for my last 10 flights, however nwa.com shows them all correctly. Both NWA.com and skymiles.com show the correct totals.
What I have noticed over the past several weeks is this:
My flights are listed on the matrix as Org/Final Dst with one segment credited
The Medallion® Qualification Segments (year to date) shows the correct number of segments credited, regardless of what shows in the detail list
I have observed the same thing.
Data in the table is pure BS... but the totals at the top of the page appear to be correct.
Still trying to find enough time to take my expense reports and the (allegedly correct) data on the NWA web site, and confirm that DL's total are not short changing me.
Is the mileage account page going to become, like the award calendar, another example of an IT system that DL does not care enough about it's customers to fix?
Some feedback from DL would be nice...
"... Bueller? ... Bueller?"

Are the flights the same flight number? If you only get 1 segment
Personally, I avoid direct flights like the plague, for exactly that reason. Pertaining to my note above, all of my dual-segment trips are showing as Org/Final Dest with one segment in the detailed list, regardless of having separate flight numbers on each segment.

The activity detail on delta.com appears to be a mess. Out of about 24 flights showing on my first page only three have a "1" in MQM Segments Earned. Most don't show any "Class of Service Paid". And the information overall is very confusingly presented.
Go over to nwa.com and everything is clearly laid out, and the segments and class of service for every flight are present and correct.
I don't see how they can possibly shut down nwa.com anytime soon.
