Delta offers no way of transferring miles out of the SkyMiles program to any other programs. The only transfers allowed are from one member to another and there is a pricey fee.
Medallions (Delta's term for elite customers) had an option to use miles for merchandise through Medallion Marketplace. There one could redeem miles for various gift cards and, at one time, some hotel redemptions were offered. However the marketplace has been temporarily shut down and is supposed to return this month IIRC. Whether they will open it to all members I can't say.
What BamaVol said is quite helpful. I use Priceline and Hotwire often for hotels and car rentals. The savings can be huge! Orlando is suffering almost as much as Vegas. So there are some really good opaque deals to be had.
Here is a possible alternative? Do you know anyone who might want to join you in Orlando? Perhaps you could offer them a free flight to accompany you and they might be nice enough to pick up some or part of your hotel costs as a thank you.

Maybe a friend, family, or co-worker has some hotel points that they don't want and could use them for your Orlando trip. They might be looking for a trip to Europe next year and your Delta miles might be your way of saying thank you for the hotel points.
True, Delta doesn't allow you to sell or barter you miles. But that is primarily meant to restrict members from offering strangers miles for $ on eBay and Craigslist. But I use miles for friends and family often. They insist that they be allowed to pick up the tab on outings, dinners, and accommodations. Did I break the rules? I don't think so and I don't think Delta would either.
