DL Double MQM miles promotion: Will Not Happen After All [DL.com Glitch]

I just booked JFK-DCA and return DCA-LGA for next week.
Under the little best fare Gaurantee flag:

Miles earned= 2000
MQM earned- 2000 (details)

Anyone else seeing double MQM and miles on tickets booked today? Is this a mistake, or did Delta cave? I took a screen shot, but i dont know how to post it.

I just wanted to amend this to say that this was not my subject line, this is a merged thread. Mine was something like "Double MQM on NYC- DCA?" I do not want to take responsibility for the madness that is this thread. Please don't blame me!

I just tried to book LAX/JFK for the end of October in M class; it's showing 9900 MQMs for the trip. It's normally 2475 miles each way, so it looks like it's showing double MQMs. I will hold off on purchasing the ticket until there's clarification on what's going on. If I had to guess, I'd suspect it's either (a) a glitch to do with the on-going integration of two systems or (b) maybe, just maybe, a double MQM program like all the others but marketed as a celebration of the integration. My guess: glitch!

I'm not seeing anything, during the booking process, but I haven't actually purchased a ticket.

Something is definitely glitchy... I can get the same thing to show when trying to book tickets. Pay with miles is also only showing I have a balance of 4 miles to use.
I somehow doubt you'll get the double credit.

Man, I hope this is the case and not just a glitch. I'd love to get 40,000 miles for my trip to India next week.

pensguin68- It's on your order confirmation screen, I tried to look at my other flights, and don't see MQM listed anywhere. Does anyone know if there is a way to see how many MQM's one will earn on a ticket already purchased?

I see the same thing on a same day MR for October 28 DAY-ATL-SEA. I'm getting 10724 miles and MQMs for the R/T. I will also wait, but am hoping DL is finally matching the double MQMs form the other airlines now that SM and WP are combined.

The whole website is a mess today. My SM account (migrated from NWA correctly last week) now shows 0 miles flown this year, and -1 segments flown last year. Gold Medallion no longer shows on the Account Summary.

Would love to see double MQM too.

+1 on both accounts.

Everything went over fine (I am a PM), but lost everything and am "-1" on segments as well. Also, I cannot get into NW.COM using my new SM account no. Can get into NW.COM using my old WP No., but it looks a touch odd.

Also like to see DEQM promo ala CO, UA and/or AA. If DL is listening, I promise to allocate all of my remaining business to you and make DM if you do. Note folks, I am just having some fun! No need to anaylze or the like!

EDIT TO ADD: Talk about the "ghost in the machine (smile)", everything appears to be fine again on both DL.COM and NW.COM with my accounts. Those poor IT guys, may hat is off to you! This must be difficult!

Safe Travels

So I am not going crazy. Just booked a trip out west and both miles earned and MQMs earned were surprisingly doubled We will see if this holds but in case it does, I might make DM after all.

Ok, question here there have been a number of threads discussing these bookings showing the possibility of DEQMs. Has anyone actually had DEQMs post? That is where it starts to get most interesting ......

I think there is definitely SOMETHING in the works right now. If you try and book a one-way flight on DL.com it shows the correct MQMs earned at base, but if you book as a round-trip the site is doubling the MQMs. This could be a round-trip requirement like the UA DEQM promo. We shall see...

Just a small point of clarification, that round-trip requirement for UA's DEQM promotion was just an initial mistake in the T&Cs and was correctly corrected. All flights qualify for DEQM, regardless of RT or not.

This started happening to me last week (I posted it in the DL.com bug thread). I was assuming it was a bug, and not a promo. I guess we'll see!
