40k (including 20k EQM) for Delta Reserve Card
I did search and didn't see this posted, seems like a decent offer.
I just got this in an email (though the email was from NWA actually):
30,000 miles after first purchase, including 10,000 MQM
10,000 bonus miles after $1,000 in purchases in 3 months, all are MQM
So for $1,000 in spending you get 40,000 total miles and 20,000 MQM, pretty good, assuming of course you haven't had the card before. You do have to pay the $450 annual fee it looks like.
Link deleted, thought it was generic but it wasn't.
I've had a DL AMEX years ago, but have no idea how many miles I got from it. If I apply for the business one though, would I get the full bonus (I know SPG counts the personal and biz separately for purposes of earning the signup bonus)?
Earn up to 40,000 miles
Including up to 15,000 MQMs and 2 Delta Sky Club™ Day Passes.
Now this is more tempting. The annual fee is less and one would have a chunk of miles to put towards buying a Skyclub membership which IMO is a reasonable use of miles.
Although I am really curious what the new thresholds/benefits are going to be for the Medallion program when the changes are announced next month.
I just received and activated to Platinum yesterday, following an e-mail offer -
5,000 Bonus Miles and 5,000 Medallion Qualification Miles (MQMs) with your first purchase(3) (already got the regular miles, no MQMs yet but I haven't made an official "purchase" yet on the new card, just paid the latest bill.)
No mention of spending $1K to get more MQMs bonus, will I not be eligible?

Part of the clue is the "lpid=307" part of the URL (and fee is $150 for personal). If you change that, and run through the 200s and 300s, you will see ALL SORTS of Delta AmEx card types and offers. I'll bet the first OPs link did have a PID in it, so someone with lots of copious spare time can check them all out and list them.
I posted a couple early ones (w 5K MQM) on the promo page, but there is not room for all of them there. Watch MQM vs. bonus miles!
Finally bit on a Gold Skymiles AMEX yesterday and was instantly approved for the card. Then just hours later received the email with the Platinum offer for 40,000 bonus miles (inc. 15,000 MQM's). I tried to call AMEX today and see if it was possible to withdraw my first application- they said no. Since I haven't yet received and thus have not activated this new account I thought it would be possible. They said once I got the Gold card I could "upgrade" to the Platinum version- but I think this would only net me 5000 MQM's. Does anyone know if I apply for the Business version of the Platinum card- would I get the full offer (15,000 MQM's)? Does anyone have experience of having both personal and business versions and getting full welcome bonuses for each?
I got the same offer.
Problem is that it costs $450 a year and I already have lifetime lounge membership.
I wish they would do their research before they made such offers
...
Apparently Chase did that research about six months after their first offer of a Continental Airlines Presidential Plus MasterCard that was not dissimilar to the Amex Reserve Card.
This resulted in a $400+/- annual fee card being offered to PC lifetime members to free for the first year and $100/year thereafter.

Hmm. My question is...I used to have the Gold Amex and got 20,000 miles for signing up. If I signed up for the platinum at $150, and spent 1000 in the first 3 months...would I get the 15,000 MQMs and 10,000 miles (the 10,000 being the difference between the 30 offered here and the 20 I already got), or would I not get the whole MQM set? I never got any MQM the last time.

same question here. it says ... receive x miles, which count towards MQM... that almost sounds like if you dont get the miles you don't get the mqm. they are not two separate things, but the same miles count in two different ways. but i hope i am wrong.
This offer is good enough (40k RDM/15k MQM for DL Plat Amex) that I decided to sign up. Even if end up not keeping the card next year the bonuses will more than pay for the annual fee.

If they did this then I'd be seriously interested.
The only big problem remaining is that Skymiles are now worth less than half of the value of most other major airline miles. (by my calculation - but look at the market for airline miles* which I think supports my opinion), so for me to justify a lot of spending on the card they'd definitely have to offer substantially more than 1 mile per dollar spent.
* skymiles are much, much easier to accumulate and cheaper to buy these days, e.g.

As I have stated in this forum many times, I am earning them at about double the rate that I was earning miles on other airlines and have no real complaint about the high prices for awards and not infrequently score at the low levels which are IMO a great bargain.

How Long to Approve?
This will be my first foray into the Delta cards. I applied last Wednesday. My application is still "in progress." I know anyone can say anything on here, but believe me when I say I have nothing less than stellar credit. Is an approval decision that takes this long the norm in the experience of others? I apologize in advance if the mods feel this question is more suited for one of the other forums. But since this is a Delta thread about the card I applied for, I thought I'd ask here.
