Right now (8pm EDT), TS Ana is in forecasted to pass ON TOP OF PR and VI (as a TS) on Tuesday in daytime hours, then to northern Domincan Republic, out to sea slightly N of Cuba's northern coast, to the southern Florida Keys into the Gulf of Mexico...
TS Bill is 2 days behind Ana, w/a probable pass on Thursday daytime just N (100 mi. or so) of SJU and STT as a H2 (top sustained winds of 100 mph) w/a Bahamas and/or Florida route (too far yet to be sure of that).
Right now, not exactly sure of how close Bill will pass N of SJU and STT, but less optimistic about Ana's possibilities of not passing through the Islands (close enough to PR/VI to say this).
Also, if either or both TS's slow down (Ana runs @ 17 mph, Bill @ 16 mph, both on the fast side) ALL BETS ARE OFF...

Welcome to our looney bin, viajero boricua. This may be the only Atlantic storm thread that you will find that has essentially been hosted by someone who lives in East-Central Indiana. We still love him as he keeps calling our attention to things we often fail to notice.
Your readings are very similar to mine except that I do not think that Bill will achieve H2 status, certainly not if he keeps moving as he has been.
Yes welcome to FT viajero boricua. I am heading down to TPA this week. I fly out Monday so no problem there what I am worried about is my return on Sunday right about when Bill will be coming from what you guys are saying.
Thanks, Monitor! And yes, that's why I've said I'm NOT EXACTLY SURE about it, but those were the forecasts by the NHC (the biggest problem w/hurricane forecasting is not the trajectory, but the intensity), check their webpage http://nhc.noaa.gov. Also, as stated, if either or both TS's slow down to less than 15 mph all bets are off 'cause it could get stronger and/or bigger...
Griffey, although it's STILL WAY TOO EARLY to figure it out (wait 'til Bill approaches the Florida Keys for a better tune on this) the straight forecast route had a certain Cajun flavor on it...
It seems Bill is forecasted to pass farther away N of SJU (over 300 mi.) and STT (over 200mi.) on Thursday night as a H2 (95 knots), but w/more of a Florida/Georgia path for the future...
Most indications are that TS Ana is still scheduled for a Tuesday daytime pass through the USVI (closer to STX), before landing over PR as a TS. There are already tropical storm watches for both VI's (USVI and BVI).
This is only intended as a help to our traveler members on or on the way to the USA Caribbean...
Wow...looks like TD 4 formed in the Gulf overnight and is expected to become TS Claudette later today! Tropical Storm warnings from the FL/AL border to the mouth of the Suwannee River. Indufan, where is the most likely landfall for this TS? Projected track brings it petty much right over my area tonight.

DLFAN, I don't think TS 4 has become a Hurricane as of yet, and there is no projections for landfall as of this time. Although, she may of already come ashore as far as I know!
The whole Gulf Coast (from Panama City to Mobile) is under a TS watch!
Nothing like waking up to a little excitement!!

Boy, I tell you what. You are right on it. Looks like maybe Hollywood Beach or Seagrove Beach area.

There is actually a small chance of this thing getting to hurricane status before landfall.
Bill is way out there and only a shipping interest for now but it is forecast to become a major hurricane in a couple of days.
Since The Weather Channel gets all of their US Tropical Storm/Hurricane information from the National Hurricane Center, here is the direct link to the NHC page for Claudette.
