Do you mean "YEAH! it worked for me!" or "DARN! it didn't work for me!" ? "We got rocks" usually means it didn't work (see: Charlie Brown Halloween clip [00:01:06]). So I wouldn't expect an exclamation point.
What are the chances that a promotion like this would get extended until October 31? I am planning on going to SYD this fall but it appears peoples schedules will not allow me to go until October, and I hate to miss out on such a good offer.

I did a trip under this promo. Neither of the segments on NW metal showed up at all nor did the bonus miles. After a month I had to mail BP copies to SM to get credit. Looks like I will have to wait and then write again to get the AMEX credit. I did get the double miles on all 6 segments, when SM finally discovered that a trip on a NW 747 with "Delta" painted outside is actually part of a DL SM itinerary purchased on dl.com with a SM number.

I paid for coach, so this appears to be the 15,000 bonus miles that came with using the AmEx card. This posted the same day as my usual monthly AmEx posting.
I haven't yet received the base 10,000 bonus miles for flying Y with any form of payment, but Delta has until the end of Nov to post those.
It's interesting that the miles appear to be split up.
Miles for most recent Amex statement posted last night....no bonuses for my JFK-ZRH trip.....I used a voucher so my fare was only $19 actually charged to the Amex, but I didn't see an exclusion for this on the promotion rules. Grrrr.....
