Beware AVODs in First, Bulkheads

Like most air-warriors, I thought I had seen it all.

My favorite: the pony-tailed dude and his hippy wife that thought it would be neat to change the diaper of their little one-year old booger dripper (and doubtless future pony-tailed hippy) on the meal tray in coach.

Now, there's a new breed of high-class traveler that has worked his way to the front of the cabin: the I'll-change-the-AVOD-with-my-big-toe traveler.

Yes, this traveler recently surfaced on the Thurs JFK-SAN flight, and was spotted in his natural habitat, seat 1A.

And I don't think this was his first time. I was quite impressed w/ the way he created an entire music playlist, all with the aforementioned big toe.

Needless to say, I pulled a sani-wipe from my briefcase and mopped down the AVOD, the armrest, the meal tray and anything else I might come in contact with.

This begs an interesting question:

Are feet dirtier than hands?

Well, as a matter of conjecture I might say that they are less likely to harbor any cold or flu visruses!

Wirelessly posted (Mozilla/4.0 (compatible; MSIE 4.01; Windows CE; PPC; 240x320))

Seriously, though that is totally classless, I don't know that it warrants disinfection any more than the countless fingers that touch the thing. I'm a big user of disinfectant wipes on all surfaces, though I'm guessing the scientists would say it makes little difference.

After having lived here in SAN for 3 1/2 years, after moving from NYC, I am willing to bet that this is a SAN resident...

I know there are some civilized people here, but the rest... well, yeah.

Did he wear socks when crossing the walk-through metal detector?
If no, then I'd prefer his toes not go on my AVOD.

Where could this person possibly have been raised to remotely believe that was acceptable. Even if he were raised by wolves, he would have used his hand (front paw). Sick...

Well for me at least, after traveling my feet are way SMELLIER than my hands...if that equates to dirtier or not... I would still not use my FEET on a surface that others will be touching with their hands....

Here is one GOOD TIP

I've found that with those touch screens the stylus on my Treo 755p works REALLY well...and spares me from touching the surface directly!
