Ok...well, tonight was the first night of the "remote" operation at CVG. Twelve flights were run out of gates 60-74 in the old C concourse. Check in at A2 get your BP scanned and then board a bus for a trip from A back to C. Anyone care to comment?

It sounds like you get off the bus at C61 and walk down the hall straight to your gate - you're out in the C gates for no more than 60 seconds - you don't ever go into the terminal itself where the waiting rooms, etc. were.

I have a 35 min connection in CVG in a week or so arriving at 7.20 pm from ATL. Really hoping not to have either flight go near C. CVG used to be a great place to connect through but now does not sound quite so appealing.
Correct...you do enter the building at C61...then proceed to your gate for boarding. As Photojojo said...the building is closed except for the one wing i.e. no restrooms, concessions, etc.

Basically, from the sounds of it, this is no worse than the old days when C was open and you'd have to take a bus to your Connection flight anyway.
