DL does not fly SLU, and we have miles only on DL. I'm going there during Thxgiving, precisely 11/23 - 11/27. I find very high priced tickets everywhere last minute. Any deals/thoughts/ideas. Please let me know.

Good luck. You want to go at a relatively high season and on the busiest travel days of the year and haven't bought tix yet. Not much to do other than find the cheapest flights and buy them. Or suck it up and forfeit the cheapo hotel room nights you got. That's what I'd likely end up doing.
Actually, $650 on that route isn't all that bad. I've rarely seen fares cheaper than that. You might not find anything all that much better even off-season.
Delta may not fly BOS-SLU but they do fly BOS-UVF via ATL. There are two airports on the island.
I actually think that most service these days is in to UVF. SLU seems to only get service from SJU, at least from US-based carriers. DL & AA fly to UVF from the mainland.
