What he failed to mention is how the percentage of miles that will never be redeemed for an airline ticket and/or expire has increased too.

I wouldn't be as bothered by these changes if they would get rid of the stupid surcharges. $250 surcharge for an award ticket originating outside the US? C'mon, that's just ridiculous.
