When you consider the number of miles that must have been handed out in the first 24 hours of the Dash to the Gate promotion...I would bet that it's someone who no longer works for Delta!

This seems to have worked for me, but only after I asked for a supervisor. The young woman who initially answered the phone insisted that I needed to call the partners and there was nothing Delta could do about it. I also needed to give the code found at the very end of the original offer page (Please refer Delta customer service representative to 970639), as she had no idea what promotion I was talking about and couldn't find the info.

Not as good, but a candidate for runner up was the 25k skymiles for spending $150 to join the Intercontinental Hotels Ambassador Program shortly after that.

But the Dash to the Gate was the *champion*. In a few clicks, you ended up with 10k miles...I can't imagine how many miles flew out the door on a promotion that came out of nowhere. There should be a hall of fame for these.

My 6k points posted on time, no problem in this promo.

Thumbs up

Got my 12K no problem. Wife got 6K. Got my daugther 3k.

All posted without a hitch even though many posting dates were after the closing date.
Way to go Delta.

Dude! I noticed that too, and thought I was just being forgetful about when I did stuff... but I too received promotional miles/credit for things that not only posted, but that I did, well after the cutoff date.

I remember thinking "it can't be, there's no way they would've let me have those... it was like 2 days after the date."

Not that I'm complaining, I was just shocked that they'd count those too!

Was told on 5/26/08 that husbands missing 3000 miles would be posted by june 7th. They aren't in his account yet. Have tried to reach someone in the promotion department. Everyone is clueless. He got 3000 miles but should have gotten 6000. Anyone had success in getting missing miles. Please poost any address or email address or phone if so. Thanks!

No, I'm in the same boat. I've been told twice over the phone that the miles should be in my account by xxx date, but so far have not received them. I have worked through the promotions department but need to ask for a supervisor to have someone with a clue.

I don't know if this was ever confirmed with certainty, but the Budget FastBreak miles DO count for this promotion. I had exactly 12 partners post during the promotion period and initially got 6k miles, but with a couple e-mails (I didn't have to fight, just point the agents in the right direction), I got the second 6k today.

Thanks Delta!

Now if I can get the 27k for transferring miles to post...

Which address did you email Delta at about this promotion?

I began by filling out the "E-mail Us" form on the site... then I simply replied to the agent that initially responded (customer-care@delta.com).

Of my 7 partners, 6 posted (incl. the Budget FastBreak) & I got the 6K in the first place . So now only 150 or so points from SkyMall/ drugstore.com is missing & I've been too busy to hunt it down.

I'm going to give this a try, thanks.

Update: I got "The Budget Fast Break is a promotion bonus and does not count for additional bonus miles." Oh well.

I had 13 eligible partner transactions but for some strange reason only 6k miles posted back in May. I had to make about a half dozen phone calls to the domestic offer 800 # and I kept getting promises that the other 6k miles would post. Well finally, today, they did post... I was beginning to lose hope. So now there's one less worry to keep me up at night

I complained to DL on day 1 by phone, then later by email, and then wrote a paper letter. Still waiting.
