Can someone confirm that a Budget sign-up works (seems like one poster says yes, other says no).
The Budget Fastbreak sign-up worked for me as my 12th activity. Well, that is unless Best Western and LATHER both counted -- they were in the same group in the T&C, god knows how that group is defined. I had two backups that did not post (employer rate from Budget, ineligible for miles as it turns out, was one of them ), and I had been worried that the Fastbreak miles wouldn't count, but they seem to have. Thanks to Evan! and everyone on the thread for parsing the T&Cs to make it easy for the rest of us.
I did 16, and only got 12k points; I did the extra one to give me safety margin, but it seems like that wasn't enough.
Not sure if I can be bothered to chase it it
There was no 15 partners level. If you had 12 or more and less than 20, you should get 12,000 miles. In last year's promotion there was a 15 partner level, but not this year.

Mine posted on 5/23/08 as well.
About 10 weeks from 3/15/08. Glad that Delta didn't make us wait till June.
From the Skymiles account history description, it seems Delta didn't count the Budget Fastbreak sign-up as SM partner (my qualified activities was short by 1, assuming it was the Budget one).

6k posted, had 8 partners.
Now to get those 5000 from Budget (promised by email but never delivered), and the last 5000 from my Avis rentals. And, of course, the 15000 or so MQMs from the DL double promo.
Just wanted to add that all 4 of us got our 3000K bonuses. (which just pushed all us over 25000K...hurray!!!)
I did have a problem with my itunes/skymilesshopping to post.
I purchased i-tunes, for the 3 of us Feb 21-22. I logged in and out of skymilesshopping each time using our individual SShopping account names. These were purchased within a span of 2 days, but with 12 to 24 hours in between each transaction. They all showed up under one i-tunes receipt.
When my skymiles never posted, skymilesshopping did not want to credit the 3 separate accounts their 3 points....they said I had no proof that I purchased them separately and would only credit one of our accounts. I tried to get proof from i-tunes but I-tunes politely suggested that next time I wait atleast 2 to 3 days between each purchase if I wanted proof of 3 separate transactions.
After multiple attempts, I finally decided to try one more time by snail mail. I printed off screenshots of my itunes "date added" dates and the itunes e-mail confirming that purchases done within 3 days would show up as one purchase, etc....I called to get a mailing address and got a different operator who listened to my story and credited the miles to each of our accounts right then and there.
My husbands itunes purchase from March 5th also never posted and the helpful rep credited his account too.
Anyways, in the end all is good, but a few lessons were learned re i-tunes and not giving up.
