Anyone see a problem with the "Bonus" miles counting as a Partner Activity?
Good question. It doesn't affect me, as I now have 7 unique partner activities (only going for 6), but it is my wife's 6th so I may have to get her another unique partner as insurance.
Two family members had Shop4Miles transactions on February 2. Today they both received the miles for their purchases, as well as the 200 bonus signup miles. However, the posting date AND the transaction date for both purchases showed today's date of March 5, not the actual transaction date of February 2.
Based on this, I would advise caution if you are counting on Shop4Miles as a partner in this promotion. Allowing for the thirty-day wait, it's possible your transaction date may be after the promotion ends on March 15, if your transaction took place after February 15.

Mine have posted as well! I probably should have check my account one more time before sending them a fax.
People from last year mentioned that it counted for them. For those of you, did the miles post as "Bonus" miles or regular miles?

Incidentally, all the accounts had same last name. That may have helped.
Did the 22 Feb one ever post? The reason I am asking is because the Starwood Lurker advised that the names have to match exactly, not just be the same last names.
With regard to transferring to someone else, I already have my DL number in my SPG profile. What did you do, just edit the DL number to the other person's?

Regardless of whether the names need to match exactly, there is an easy solution for this -- Starwood allow transfers between household members for free, so just get a SPG account for each other person with the same address as yours, and then use their own account to transfer to Delta. Household transfers are near instantaneous (took two hours the other day), and for the peace of mind of making sure the transfer goes through without any problems, I'd say its worth it.

Potentially, for the very reason that you have set forth -- all of the other activities that you had engaged in -- most of which required you to actually complete the activity contemplated by the drafters of this promotion -- posted under the "Ordinary" miles column.
I have another activity that posted like the Budget activity. Hilton currently is/was offering quadruple miles for hotel stays under a certain rate code.
1/2 of the miles were to come from Hilton (as they do normally) and the other 1/2 to be matched by Delta. The first portion from Hilton posted under ordinary miles and for the date of my hotel stay.
However, the other "matching" 1/2 from Delta posted under bonus miles and about 2 weeks later.
Therefore, since your Budget and my extra Delta miles from the Hilton promotion posted under bonus activities, Delta may not consider them true activities for this promotion.
On the other hand, they may do so, but I would have a back-up if they do not! It would be senseless to not to do another activity as insurance in case Delta does not count this as a proper activity.
As for me, I did not count the Hilton activity bonus as a qualifying activity in my own case.

Thanks for the tip.
I signed up with S4M last night and forgot to enter the promo code for the 200 signing bonus. I e-mailed right away and had a response today that they added 200 to my account. I thought it was supposed to some with the first purchase. Was it and I lucked out? Will I have to buy something for them to transfer to DL, or will it happen automatically?
Either way, for the reasons mentioned, I will not be buying anything I don't need anyway just to have them not post in time with the correct date.

Yes. The bonus column won't even extend your SkyMiles expiration date, so I'm willing to bet it won't count as a partner. I now need to find another one.
Edited to add: Correction. Delta told me by email that it will count as a partner for this promotion.
How long would this one take?
You get a 14 day free trail. So the points will be posted after your first paying billing cycle?
Mine posted the day after I was billed for the first month. So basically if you start the trial today it will take 14-15 days for your miles to show up.

They put the 200 miles into your Shop4Miles account right away. However, you must purchase something, and have the points for that purchase added to the bonus miles, before they will take the combined amount and move it to your Delta account.
Shop4miles has a minimum 100 miles threshhold before they will transfer miles to your airline account. A single iTunes purchase, when added to your 200 bonus miles, will eventually trigger the transfer.

has anyone called or emailed SM to find out about this for certain?
Will FTD post with order date, delivery date or with date that miles post. I made a purchase on FTD today for delivery on 3/11 and wonder if it will count as a partner....Can those with FTD mile postings advise? Thanks.
