Aiming for 12k here, this is what I have so far:

1. Budget, 1000 miles Fastbreak signup bonus (posted)
2. points.com transfer (posted)
3. shop4miles, takes care of 1 of the following (not posted)
4. skymiles dining (posted)
5. erewards (posted)
6. Delta AMEX (posted)
7. FTD (posted)
8. netflix (posted)
9. skymilesshopping (posted)
10. drycleaning (posted)
11. emiles (posted)

I'm also planning to do a buy miles purchase for #12, but would like to have a buffer if anyone can think of a free or cheap partner that I'm missing.

I got hosed on 1800flowers because I picked an item that was not eligible for miles. Glad I actually wanted the flowers and wasn't doing it purely for the miles (just mostly).

I plowed through this thread earlier, I really did, and thought I'd seen something somewhere that buying a gift certificate from giftcertificates.com through skymilesshopping would not qualify. But now I'm thinking I later saw someone saying it would. Anyone know for sure? Also any idea how long it takes for the i-Tunes purchases to post? I'm wondering if I need to make yet another "insurance" purchase through skymilesshopping before it's too late.

How do I know which items are ineligible?

Some sale items are under $10 right now.

I had iTunes and Home Depot post in 3-4 days last year. This year, Home Depot took 30+ days. iTunes has been 1 week and waiting.

Gift certificates from most sites do not count and you'll see that exclusion mentioned when you go through the SkyMilesShopping link. However, giftcertificates.com purchases will earn miles.

My iTunes purchase took 10-14 days to post.

Apparently it's in nice big letters on the item's page, something like this: "Due to special value pricing on this item, promotion codes cannot be accepted."

I had no idea such items existed so I didn't even look for it.

Yeah, that phrasing now appears on several of the sale items. The cheapest teddy bear, bu not the next cheapest, for example.

I used 3, but after visiting the partner bonus marketing page... just for kicks I signed up 'again' and it accepted me.... so... that makes me think that I never signed up in the first place, or the database randomly purged my name..

I'm blaming the database !!!!!

damn databases with agendas!!

Well... that kinda started my morning off on the wrong foot..

My shop4miles posted this morning (260 miles). Also hubby got 2 set of 500 miles for Ameriprise for autoquote. I did the autoquote for him several weeks ago and the miles never posted so I did it again about a week again thinking that the first time never went thru. Well they both posted this week. I am suprised that they both went thru.

Is this posting protocol consistent with other people's experience?
This is how my Hilton miles post, and Avis as well (check in date, and date I picked up the car)

I am sorry for mentioning this again if this is covered in this thread but please clarify this for me. Husband has two Alamo transactions from 2007 that posted January 30th 2008 (had to contact Alamo because they had not given him the miles). Will they count for this promotion because they posted during the promotion period? I remember during last years promotion that some folks may have gotten credit for transactions that posted during the promotion even if the activity occured before the promotion period. Does anyone here not the definite answer to this? Please don't slam me if this is a repeat question. Trust me, I am on here almost every day and my head is spinning from reading all of these posts.

1-800-flowers

Just as an FYI for anyone still waiting for miles to post. I placed an order on my account, and miles posted within a week. The order placed on my husband's account however, never posted and its been a month. This morning I contacted them via their online customer service form and within an hour, received a response back from them and the miles are in my account.

My 1,000 miles for the Budget FastBreak signup have finally posted. They posted as "Bonus" miles rather than ordinary "Miles." All other partner activities show up in the "Miles" column.

Anyone see a problem with the "Bonus" miles counting as a Partner Activity?

Mine and my husband's budget fastbreak miles just posted within the last 2 hours. This brings him to 6 partners. I am at 9, will be at 10 by the weekend. I would love to be at 12 by end of promotion but I am exhausted. The only thing left to do is a flower purchase (which I have no need for). Unfortunately there is no cleaners anywhere close to our area. This has been a good promotion and I have gotten alot of miles in addition to the 6000 miles I expect to get at the end.
