Guy: Is this Mr. Paterwdb?
Pater: Yes.
Guy: This is N. from the N. Dry Cleaners
Pater: Yes sir.
Guy: Sir, we seem to have mis-located your shirt.
Pater: Mis-located? Is that a word?
Guy: We lost it.
Pater: No, you didn't.
Guy: Huh?
Pater: I have all of my shirts.
Guy: How do you know.
Pater: Because I didn't leave a shirt with you.
Guy: Our inventory says we have a shirt of yours.
Pater: You don't.
Guy: Are you sure?
Pater: Yes.
Guy: Okay.
Pater: How's the hobbit outside the store?
Guy: Really freaky.
Pater: Okay, have a great day.
Guy: Um, thanks.

The zero priced item is called the 'fast lane current dvd' and can be found here:
Someone posted a bunch of links for promos on the various car rental companies. I believe it was Hertz, Budget, Dollar and Avis. I can't seem to find them no matter what I do. Does anyone know where the promo links are? Thanks.

The DL23 code isn't working on 1800flowers.com, although it's supposed to be valid until 2/29. Any advice?
I was able to use it today. It was actually pre-filled in on my order blank, then all I had to do was add my DL SkyMiles number. I then clicked on "Apply."

Hello Everybody,
It was nice reading through 51 pages of postings.... Very interesting comments, ideas and a great spirit!
I've a few questions and a few things to say. First questions:
1) It seems reasonable to assume that a hotel activity (with participating partners) should qualify as one activity for the 25K bonus promo. Atleast that is what the section under "Unique partner activity" says. However under "Promotion Partner List" for EACH and EVERY hotel it specifically says "(one stay among....list).
I just had my Starwood membership set to earn miles instead of points (thanks to the suggestions here on this forum!) but if I just eat/drink at their restaurant instead of staying (great idea again from this forum!) will that count as a qualifying activity? (I checked with the hotel that they will give starwood points for dining). Anybody knows that for sure...esp folks with experience from last year?
Also, Hotel Ivy is a new hotel in the Starwood group. It is not listed in the Starwood hotels list in the T&C's....But i guess my miles will post from Starwood or will it show as Hotel ivy?
2) The DL23 code at 1800 flowers was not working. Also how do you enter your Delta Skymiles number in the following field...with DL23xxxxx or just
23xxxxx
3) Anybody knows if converting Skypoints earned from the Delta-Amex Skypoints CC to Skymiles will count as a CC activity?
4) Somebody asked about whether SSN is required with AmeripriseAuto/LendingTree..
When i applied yesterday the LendingTree rep told me that for the purpose of DeltaSkymiles SSN is required. They seemingly have different groups to which the applications for loan requests go to...And the groups/agents whom lendingtree works with for DeltaSkymiles purposes, do require SSN.
I do not know what's the case is with Ameriprise.
One more thing. Those of you who applied for LendingTree ONLINE, PLEASE call to check if your DL FF number is on file ***AND**** whether the delta promo code of DL15-15 has been included in your application. Seemingly, they claim, one needs to enter it in the last page....but there is no such field. So in my case, although i chose the correct links and went on from there, my application DID NOT have the DL15-15 code. I called to request it and asked them to send me a confirmation email and they later sent me an email saying that they are doing this as a 'one time courtesy'......SO if you want the 1000 bonus miles for the Lending tree loan request, please call to verify.
Thank you everybody for sharing your tips and experiences and wishing you all the very best

I did not enter my SSN for the lendingtree quote and I did receive miles, took about 4 weeks.

No one has come forward with a direct way to turn a Starwood dine (without an associated stay) into Delta miles.
