In the last promo they counted, so I would say yes.

I think "typical" is that the miles post a day or two after your credit card is charged...which is after the two week trial period. Good luck!

My experience has been different.

Teleflora: bought 2/11, posted 2/18
FTD: bought 2/4, posted 2/21
1800flowers.com: bought 2/4, not yet posted

Also noteworthy is that the flowers.com merchandise died within two days, whereas the others had no quality issues.
I'll second that on the slow credits from the flower companies. I placed one order each with FTD.com, 1-800-Flowers and Teleflora Flower Club on Jan. 31 (for Valentine's delivery), and got credit from Teleflora only on Feb. 18. Mind you, it was only half the promised credit! It's now 2/26 and still waiting on the other two, as well as BandN.com and Sears.com credits through SM Shopping.

And, the Teleflora flowers died prematurely for us, too. I called the company they subbed out the delivery to (Tiny's Flowers in Mission Hill, for my Boston friends) and they very graciously delivered a make-up bouquet.

Hello... signed up husband for the promo a few weeks (month?) ago. Forgot about it and just last week started working on getting some activities. He (thus far) has a Hilton stay, Amex, and points.com mileages appearing. (should have 12+ before it ends). I'm wondering though if on the skymiles account summary in the listing for the particular activity it should somehow reference the promo? His mileage postings all look exactly like they normally would, no "special promo" or anything noted.

I called SMS to ask about it, and they transferred me to a promo desk, (sounded like India), the gal assured me that his miles would show up at the end of the promo, but when I asked her if she could see that he was registered for it she said "no". She told me to keep the promo number and follow up after the promo ends. I expressed concern that I'd already been on the phone 25 minutes and didn't want to have to chase this again in a few months and could she direct me to an email address, so I could at least get something in writing. She told me no, put me on hold again and came back and said she'd noted that he was enrolled on the account... whatever that means.

I'm sure I sound paranoid. I just know that the pros here can either reassure me that all is well, or give me suggestions on how to insure that we've done what we need to do on our end. Thoughts?

Thanks!
Kim

Will both the Budget fastbreak and Budget rental count individually (as 2 activities)?

How about Netflix? I believe there is a 1500 miles bonus for signing up as well. The cheapest plan is $8.99 a month, and that includes 1 movie delivered and as many as you want to watch online. Husband is going to enjoy being able to watch from his laptop while staying in hotels, so we may keep the service beyond the necessary first month for the promo.

Your 2 Budget activites will count as one. Your count (including future stuff) is 17, not 18
Stay one night at a Triprewards hotel (they have some fairly cheap brands).. back up to 18
Stay (pretend to stay) one night at a Choice hotel (they have some g0d awful cheap brands) ... count would now be 19
Buy 1K SkyMiles from Delta if it will brings you to the 20 mark.

There will be no special notations on the partner activities as they apply to this promotion. It would be nice if there were a way to see what one's current count is at delta.com but, alas, there is none.

To confirm that your husband is regsitered go to the orignal promo link and try to register him a second time. You should see a message that say something to the effect of "you are already registered for this promotion".

Now stop reading posts at FlyerTalk and get out there and rent some cars, check into some hotels, eat at a Rewards Network restaurant or bar, send yourself some flowers, get an insurance quote, complete some surveys, buy a soap pump, etc... Gheesh, woman, you only have a couple of weeks left... get movin!

Hehe.. thank you for the lightening quick response.

I know, I know... the pressure is on at this point. I'm thrilled that I should be able to hit 12, given my late start. (I could've done 25! UGH). I'll pay more attention in the future.

YES, IF you don't also earn SkyMiles by staying at a Choice hotel. Any kind or number of Choice activities = 1 partner credit total.
