Me walking into dry cleaners in Boulder, CO, where I do not live:
Pater: I'm going to be your weirdest customer today.
Guy: Why is that?
Pater: I'd like you to charge me for something.
Guy: For what?
Pater: Whatever you'd like. The cheapest thing you can charge me for... maybe for one shirt. Or can you charge me for like a hanger or something.
Guy: We don't sell the hangers. We give you credit if you bring one in for .02.
Pater: So could you charge me .02 to buy one.
Guy: No. I couldn't put that in the computer.
Pater: Okay, then just whatever you can put in your computer.
Guy: Are you going to have your shirt drycleaned?
Pater: Not unless you can do it while I wait, and you don't mind me sitting over there without my shirt on while I'm waiting.
Guy: I do mind.
Pater: I don't blame you. I'd mind too. Then you can just charge me.
Guy: For what?
Pater: Like I said, whatever you want.
Guy: Okay, whatever you say. That'll be $1.87.
Pater: Here, put it on this card.
Guy: Sign here.
Pater: Thanks. Have a great day. Told you I'd be the strangest customer today.
Guy: Well, he wasn't a customer, but there was a man dressed as a hobbit standing outside for like an hour. I think he cast a spell on my store.
Pater: Um, thanks again.
I already have a couple of activities posted on my Delta account, but there is a big problem for me, I do "NOT" remember did I register for this Delta 25K promotion or not.
If I already registered before and reigister again now, will my previously earned two activities be considered invalid activities ?
And is there anyway to find out if I am already registered for this promotion or not ? Thanks a lot.

There are two ways that I know of, first call delta and ask, you will need the refer to promo ID # 970639 or you can just try and register again, if you have registered before it will tell you and the activities will still count

I had a similar problem last year and sent Delta an email. It's better to have email proof than a phone call.
Mr. honu had a SkyMiles Shopping purchase on 2/15, which should have qualified for the Valentine 1000-mile bonus. Unfortunately, it was posted on 2/22 with a 2/18 date. He contacted Skymiles/DL CS via email, but so far has received no response. What's the best way to contact DL to correct this discrepancy?
Does anyone know if I can transfer 30 USAIR Dividend Miles from my account to 1 Skymile to my wife's account via points.com? Or do the names on the accounts have to be the same?
HH, when you sign up for points.com, you can link any two accounts and I dont think they are too fussy about the name match. However, if you have already registered your Skymile account and your USAIR Dividend Miles account through your own points.com sign in, you cannot "delete" the link between your points.com account and your SKymiles account and "re-register" your wife's account.
My own SPG transfet to my Delta Skymiles done on 17 Feb, posted on both sides same date.
My second SPG transfer to my wife on 19 Feb debited on SPG side same date, not credited to her Delta Skymiles as of 22 Feb.
I wonder if there is some sort of name match Delta are doing before crediting the SPG miles.
Three out of my four SPG transfers to famly members' Delta Skymiles account have now gone through. My own transfer went through within 24 hours. The next two took 3 to 4 business days to clear. The last one done on 22 Feb has still not posted.
Incidentally, all the accounts had same last name. That may have helped.
in regards to this promo, Delta seems to be giving away miles everywhere! Does anyone know if they are about to increase the miles required for a free flight??
