Netflix.com

I signed-up for the Netflex plan. How long does it take to have the miles get credited on the Delta account?

One among the following...

Can anyone recommend the easiest/cheapest way to get an activity from the long list of vendors grouped as "one among the following"?

When I redeemed for AA miles, they posted within a week. I've never done it for Delta- YMMV.

Cheapest? One of them would be to apply for an auto insurance quote through Ameriprise. That however is not the easiest.

I have no idea what the easiest is as I haven't ever used most of the partners in that list.

I did the insurance quote for the partner bonus promotion last year. Anyone know if you can do it more than once with enough of a time span between them?

Although poorly worded, one could reasonably assume that you can get miles every 6 months.

See https://www14.ameriprise.com/AutoQuo...A&RefID=11m-dw

However, if your miles do not post automatically in the first month and you cannot get anywhere with Ameriprise, I would find an alternate partner (Ameriprise Insurance was notorious as a problem-child partner in the previous promotion).

It has been pointed out in previous posts that Shop 4 Miles has some inexpensive ways to get miles.

How do you find out how to even qualify with some of these obscure partners? For example, I live near Cincinnati and The Cincinnatian Hotel is listed. Nowhere on the hotel's website does it mention anything about earning Delta miles at the hotel.

Don't forget that Valentine's Day falls within the promotion period. So the 3 floral partners are potentially 3000 miles

For me the obvious choice among the "others" (sounds like Lost reference) is one night at a BestWestern. It will earn me 250 miles and a unique partner. I am going to spend money on hotel rooms anyway for work so I shy away from spending money with a partner among the "others" just for the sake of this promo.

Somehow the link doesn't work for me. Got a "page not found" error. Anyone has the same problem?

I went to this like, https://www.delta.com/marketing/partnerbonus/index.jsp ,same link as last year's promotion. But this time the dates are in 2008. Jan 15 to March 15, 2008. I am doubtful that I can make any more than maybe 6 partner activities in just 60 days but I am going to try.

The T&C state the following "To participate in this offer, SkyMiles member must register online between April 1, 2007 and May 31, 2007." Seems strange that a promotion for Jan 15 through March 15, 2008 would have a registration period of April 1 to Mar 31, 2007. Even if the copy meant Jan 15 to Mar 15, 2007 I can't see where one could register for that in April and May of the same year.

I went to register and it says I have already registered. But I don't remember registering for a 2008 partner promo. I did register for the 2007 though.

If you try and you are successful in registering, please let us know. But include whether you enrolled for the 2007 promo as well.

If you read a little further in this thread you will see that the link and promotion (at that time) were in error. However we discovered it was just premature. Here is the 2008 promo link.

Have I missed something, why on earth would anyone think an April 1 posting from E-miles would count as a partner?

Also, this promo will get you a lot of SkyMiles as well as count as your Budget partner.

Also see this Alamo promo; this Dollar promo; this Hertz promo; this one from Thrifty; and finally, this one from Avis.

Good luck!
Evan!

on the great informative post, thank you!
