“Good Goes Around”

What do you think of the new slogan Good Goes Around by Delta Air Lines?

Dumb. Makes me think: "What comes around goes around". But it is lightyears ahead of "Ted"

It's good PR, makes general public think Delta is good. Although I'd have to agree with NW that in the short run this might cause a dip in revenue, hopefully, in the long run, it'll work out for DL. At least they're doing something to fight FL and other LCC. There are now only 6 economy fare classes-anyone know what they are? L,U,T,H,K,M? or Q?

It's not a bad slogan. I'm sure it will grow on me.

Certainly is a positive sounding campaign but the one I always remember is "Delta Is Ready When You Are."

I'm not in marketing, so maybe I'm not supposed to get these things, but it just makes me go..."huh?"

When I first saw the title of this thread, I thought it might be a feel good story about a positive Delta experience. So, I guess the slogan works.

So while we're waiting for good to come back round does that me we have to settle for bad?

I'm IN marketing, which means I help come up with puzzling slogans like this one.

Maybe it will grow on me, but I'm not sure it works. I keep thinking that Good Goes Around means that DL is flying in circles and is not sure where they're going, but they're committed to being pleasant while doing so.

No — it simply means that while Delta Air Lines attempts to corner the causes of its financial woes when they triangle after angle after angle, it is offering a square deal in the meantime to its customers, as long as the Pentagon does not need to use their services or aircraft for any emergency military effort.

Let’s hope that Delta Air Lines does not fall into the same trapezoid other now-defunct airlines and comes full-circle back to profitablility...

Canarsie, you make it sound as though DL is trying to improve things geometrically, but I think they've already taken a wrong turn with the new ticketing fees.

No — I am simply stating the shape of the current situation of Delta Air Lines, that’s all...

Consider the alternative. "S*** Happens..."

Good one "Hostage."

Since you've been hostage to the SimpiFares in CVG for a while, this is not new for you. Maybe another alternative could be....Same S***, Different Day"

Interesting slogan for sure, hopefully doesnt imply more delays and ongoing circling of DL planes around US airports
