-Likely to miss ATL-BTR flight, so got backup confirmed on the next flight.

Update:
DL's flight display boards at the end of PHL D aren't working/are displaying wrong information. It's a cluster.
I hope you got home! $500 in downgrade compensation is pretty good. I'd gladly trade my 4 RUCs for $2000 if given the option.

I'm about to take the Jack Daniel's distillery tour. Never too early to begin drinking, right?

About 3 hours late, but I did. Ended up sitting on a CRJ9 at E for about an hour while they waited for ground staff to fuel the plane. That was obnoxious. Did take advantage of the longer connection time and enjoyed a lovely dinner at OFS.

I though it was a dry county and you do not get samples

^ I generally only apply that rule during college football season, but since European football leagues started last weekend I'd say it counts.

They must have some kind of exemption, because they did mention it is a dry county, but we still got samples at the end. (I'd meant to ask about that and forgot, oh well)

That's what happens when you slam down too many samples.

Speaking of spirits, are there any gin aficionados on this thread? The Sky Club @mke switched from Bombay to Damrak, which I've never had before. It's not very interesting and tastes almost watered down. I hope it's a location specific change and not a test market or something.

I've started packing for my vacation... Only things that remain to pack:
  1. passport
  2. Posh and other toiletries
  3. unmentionables
  4. carry-on set of clothes, toiletries. and chargers
  5. the dogs' bags for their stays at Musselman's Pet Paradise (Empress Cobaka) and Camp Milkbone (Generalissimo Geno and Sgt. Schultz)
  6. books for the flights
  7. extra shoes

I don't leave until Friday evening... I don't need a vacation or anything...

I wouldn't call myself an aficionado, but I love gin. Usually I drink whiskey in skyclub, but I'll try Damrak next I see it.

I love Gin and yes I noticed. It almost has an "oily" taste on the palate and not as nice as the regular Bombay.

I saw it @DTW SC too on my shucks. I have to guess they will change it on the planes next. It's not cheap stuff either but I just don't like it. Now Hendrick's I could have gotten on board with! Maybe I'll have to try this Woodford or whatever it is everyone raves about.

That's about what I have left to pack for our vacation as well. We leave tomorrow afternoon.
