however the PM phone agent rebooked me into the last F seat on the later flight (yeah, it's a 738, but the F BP means I'm currently sitting on the T4 SkyDeck for the next hLf hour or so) ... and I found "Upgrade Available" on the Mon night redeye return (yeah, it's a standard 26F 757, but again the F BP means I get a shower at JFK so will be able to go straight to the office after I land in DC)

I am and I dined there and I just had cocktails in a roof top bar. Stopping at the Fairfield by Marriott 330 West 40th Street.

I just started a thread http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/delta...questions.html and would appreciate feedback from the International crowd in the Lounge.
BTW, the reason for the one-way tix for my wife and myself are that with 22 TATL flights a day from JFK, we'll try to nonrev to anyplace in Europe a week before and cancel the outbound if we're successful.

my wife and I stayed there in Dec ... very nice property (even though it's two doors from the parole office) ... the rooftop lounge was a happenin' place for the 20- and 30-somethings

There are times owning .75 acres of land is too much... I spent Friday night and this afternoon mowing the lawn and planting flowers.

Any existing thread for lounge invitations?
Before I start one, is there a thread for requesting/offering DL lounge invitations? This exists in a few other airline forums but a search of this one did not turn anything up.
In my case I am flying VS from LHR-JFK on 24th April and was hoping that maybe a DL status holder might be in the VS LHR Clubhouse on the same day and would be kind enough to guest me in!
