Who's got the lowest Skymiles # ?
In response to the 20 year old birthday of the DL Frequent FLier program, I'm wondering who on FT has the lowest Skymiles #. To protect your number, just provide the 1st four digits - at leats until someone has 0000xxxxxx !!
My number is: 0145xxxxxx. Unfortunately I can't remember exactly when I joined, but it was probably 1981 which I guess was pretty much at the start.

I always thought that beginning in '82 or so, DL started using numbers beginnig with 2. Someone at DL probably realized that they will be needing many numbers
Best I can tell, they are still using them (saw some recent FF # start with 2). Mine - I joined in late '83 or early '84 - starts with 2003xxxx. I keep looking for smaller numbers (2002xxxx, 20001xxxx) and so far, saw them only twice in the last 3-4 yrs. Both belonged to older guys with MM and Flying Colonel tags, I figured they've joined a looooooong time ago.

My Delta # starts with 10075....I always liked it, since my last name is Goldfinger, and 007 is a leitmotif in my life.
Didn't realize I was such an old coot!

0316. I think I joined in late '81 or early '82. In those days, they didn't even track miles. You tracked segments by holding your ticket receipts. I remember eventually mailing them all in to get mileage credit. I think NW did this originally as well.

mine starts with 205. I seem to remember from a long time that the number was made up partially from your phone number of record. I think it was DL, but it was so long ago it may be another carrier (probably UA)

Mine starts with 2005****. It goes back to about 1984, and DL is still my primary carrier.

My number is 20027*****. I enrolled in the early 1980s, probably 1984, but I don't remember exactly.
