Mattress pads and "wake me up" cards are being tested on select routes right now.

A welcome addition would be a place to put all of this bedding when you are not using it.

Another step backwards with the loss of our beloved 747 upper deck.

Mattress pads are the #1 thing for D1 that I would really like to see. Even mentioned it in a survey recently. It would make the experience so much better.

Especially with the pleather seats. Those things can be downright uncomfortable.

I've always found the overheads in D1 have plenty of space... but yes the 747 upper deck had that great extra space by the windows.

Great. I think that DL will have to do this if UA continues to offer on Polaris. And count me in among those who think this is the biggest issue in D1. I don't care that much about the other amenities, but being able to be comfortable should be the very first priority in D1 after safety.

There are 7 weekday D1 flights to JFK (as someone else mentioned), DL & UA never share a terminal, and I don't think they share any ground crew, so I think this being a UA mistake is unlikely.

Brain was thinking this was SFO/JFK since saw D1 and on SFO/BOS it just started.
