Access Sky Club upon arrival from red-eye?
Sky Club rules require same-day boarding pass to enter the Club. If a paid Sky Club member (without elite status or card affiliation) flies a red-eye (leave LAX 10:45 PM, arrive JFK 7:21 AM), can that member access the JFK Sky Club upon arrival in the morning? The boarding pass would be dated for the 10:45 PM evening, which would apparently fail the same-day requirement. If the answer is yes, could you specify an official source for the affirmation?
I have seen an old thread with anecdotes saying access was possible, but no official Delta reference.
Thank you.

Any other method does require a BP on DL or for STE+, a ST airline.

"Delta Sky Club Members can only use the Club in conjunction with same-day ticketed air travel but such travel may be on any airline."
If you are flying DL, they can see your flight when they scan your card. If you are not flying DL, they may ask to see a BP to prove you have a same-day flight.

Technically, it requires a same-day flight on any airline for Sky Club members

I'd give this pretty good chances of success...

Personally, never had to show a BP if I was flying the other guys...just scanned the electronic Skymiles membership card instead and never had issues. These were all in post-security locations, so travel was assumed (yeah, could have just gotten an escort pass or something...but who would do that?). Also, isn't the portion between midnight and arrival technically "same day ticketed air travel"...? It doesn't say "same day departure"

Lot's UA flyers apparently used their lounges without a same-day flight as when UA matched DL's policy requiring same-day ticket (and showing BP to prove it), it caused quite the furor over there --

I think if you give them OAL BP they can input the flight # to allow for targeted marketing. Ie lots of travellers using the SC at ATL, but flying UA. They can get some useful stats. Also believe it allows them to track any delays/canvellations for ypur flight.

I was on this flight in Delta One last week and have the reserve card has well. Had no problem accessing the lounge for a shower and breakfast upon arrival. I'd imagine paid membership to not be a problem either.
