Schedule Change Alert

Pretty simple question I hope.

I have a flight which was booked by my girlfriend as a gift. It says that there has been a schedule change affecting my flight and has green tick marks next to each segment. Is there a way to tell how significant this change was (since I didn't book the original flights, I don't know)? If it's significant enough, there's a different routing I'd prefer.

Thanks!

Call Delta. Say "I can see there was a schedule change, but I can't see what the change is." Then listen when they answer.

She should have an eMail with the original itinerary. You could ask her . . . . unless. . . . she's not yer GF anymore!

Right, but I hate bugging the DM line with stupid calls like this...

She is. Her confirmation email has the same times/days/etc, so I'm not sure what's going on.

Have you checked the flight numbers and aircraft types?

Sometimes, with DL Connection flights, for example, the specific Connection carrier will change thereby creating a flight number change.

You could also try Twitter, but either way besides your GF the only other entity that has that info readily available is DL

As davetravels notes, if the times are the same then it could have been an equipment and/or Connection carrier swap, or sometimes just flight renumbering.

I apologize that I called and asked about the flight attendants. I really knew the answer.

Have something similar. Don't see what the change is but was interested in changing to routing to a different connection city if the change was over an hour but times seem to be the same.

Went ahead and called in. Took about 2 minutes because I was informed it was only a few minutes change which doesn't qualify me for changing the routing as I had hoped.

Oh well!
