No there is not for US carriers. Some airlines based in other countries do have them.

Bob Reardon was an FA until age 90.

In regard to posts like this, I have often wondered why the "friend" is unable to ask the question for his/herself.

Mandatory age and weight limits with many non-US airlines.

Maybe the OP's friend has never been responsible for U.S.-based employees and is wholly unfamiliar with a fifty year old Federal law.

When he was President, he advocated the end to mandatory retirement ages. The reasoning seemed to be that if he could be old and senile and still be President, then anyone of any age should be legally entitled to do any job and not subject to mandatory retirement. IIRC pilots and a few other jobs are exempt from the rule. [I'm not sure whether it's a law, regulation, or executive order.]

Lots of dinosaurs flying the US based airlines out there. I flew QR lax-doh-sin a few months ago. All the flight attendants were young and slender. It was nice not to get slammed by an overweight flight attendant in the shoulders like I do sometimes on AA.

A couple of y'all are a tad worked up about the friend comment it was purely in jest and used a ton on a sports message board I frequent.

As far as asking the question I did not know the answer and there was a FA on my flight that was way up there in years. Looked it and moved like it.
I certainly couldn't imagine her being much help in an emergency situation.
Very friendly though.
