Hold time 1 hr 15 medallion helpline?

When I called Medallion # got message that hold time was 1 hr and 15 min with no invitation to be called back? Is this unusual Sunday night? Havent had this long a wait before.

Severe weather in the south and impending bad weather in NYC.

+1

I got the same while waiting in a 20 min line to talk to a SC agent in MCO.

The SP checkin desk was a complete zoo.

LOL Good luck Dave travels. Stayed on the line for 1 hr and 25 min and then another 20 for assistance. Thankful they are so pleasant at least. Silly since I didnt have an urgent concern but a time sensitive one. Good luck anyone trying to call...weather creating a trickle effect of delays!

Yep. Just posted a separate thread on this as well (sorry, didn't see yours.) I was quoted 1 hour 31 minutes.

DTW was also dealing with fog, which led to numerous diversions and cancellations, so tough day/night for DL and its connection carriers.

I did earlier tonight just for funsies. I got through to reservations in a minute and forty six seconds as UA dirt, essentially immediately after navigating the voice menus. DL was 1h19m-1h59m for statusless customers.

Try calling back next time Chicago, Houston, or Denver are experiencing severe weather.

Or maybe they staff their call center with more people because they know their flight operations are consistently terrible?

I called near midnight Pacific and 26-31 minutes.
Lots of issues everywhere, good thing my issues could be postponed to another day!
Now hope I can drive home from Mammoth. The 241" of snow this month has made it a bit messy on the roads!

I called at 5pm eastern and got my call back 3 hours later. I ended up calling back this morning and still was on hold for an hour.

You heard about their IT meltdown yesterday, right?

As a DM, I had a 90 minute hold time yesterday. Thankfully, they gave me the call back option, which I took, but the recording said it should have been between 41 minutes and 1 hour 3 minutes.

I heard rumblings on FT, but I assumed it wasn't a big deal given news outlets weren't reporting on it more. As it turns out DL cancelled 59 and delayed 1,053 yesterday vs. UA's 27 and 641. A decidedly better day for United, in spite of the IT snafu.
