Theorem. All passengers are Sky Priority.

Proof by induction. Let the inductive hypothesis P(n) be that in every set of n >= 1 passengers, all are Sky Priority.

Base case. P(1) is true because OP has Sky Priority.

Inductive step. Assume P(n) is true for some n >= 1. Consider a set of n+1 passengers:

p_1, p_2, ..., p_n, p_{n+1}

By assumption, the first n passengers (p_1, ..., p_n) are Sky Priority. Also by assumption, the last n passengers (p_2, ..., p_n, p_{n+1}) are Sky Priority. Therefore, all n+1 passengers (p_1, ..., p_{n+1}) are Sky Priority. QED

Big chuckle here too. I guess we math majors are an odd lot. Or at least not even.

Flying out of SIN, security screening is at the gate. I often get in the regular line because it could be much shorter than Sky Priority. It seems like more than half the plane is Sky Priority.

Neither of which would help you with the gate screening at SIN

Which makes me even happier that I rarely travel internationally.
(The $15 was still worth it though)

SKY is any Gold or above Delta member. "Sky Elite" or whatever they call it. So someone flying internationally 2-3 times a year would likely access that level. So the line is pretty long sometimes.

In part it depends on the airport the plane is going from/to, and in part it depends on the day of the week. Certainly there are days when it does seem like a large portion of the plane is Sky Priority.
