New Routes ex-DCA
Beginning March 11th, Delta will operate DCA-MIA and MCO on Saturdays only, using an E170 on the MIA flight, and a CRJ700 to MCO.
Guessing they saw an opportunity, since I'm sure they were running with some excess capacity on those almost hourly ATL flights. Still, there's already three other airlines (AA, B6, WN) flying to MCO. Only AA currently flies DCA-MIA, so DL might be able to poach some leisure travelers, although they're going up against nine AA mainline flights.
Last day of service appears to be September 2nd.

I'm all over this if the return schedules work: took the Fri evening LAX-MIA-DCA redeye a few times in the 2007-2009 timeframe; easy UGs, nice (and fairly empty) SC for a 3-hour layover ... SEA-MCO would be okay too

unfortunately not, those are too many Disney stuffed. I think I have a better idea. They have to put Disney stuffed into checked bags. It is better way to put those stuff into checked bags instead of inside the passengers aircraft.
