RIP Kevin Pinto
Kevin Pinto passed away the other day after a long battle with cancer. For the last month he was in home hospice.
Many of us knew Kevin from various Delta events and many others knew him as the best example of customer service - ever.
If you had a problem and reached out to Kevin, it was resolved immediately.
There are numerous posts here about Kevin's humor, dedication, and expertise.
Please join in extending condolences to his family and the Delta family that he loved and served so well.
Fly in peace, Kevin.

May he rest in peace. And condolences to his near and dear ones over their loss after the struggle he faced.
As an employee of DL and even otherwise, his concern for DL's customers showed in how he helped those of us here on FT. A real role model in how DL should understand its customers.

So sad to hear -- he was such an amazing Delta ambassador and truly seemed to love what he did.
I remember I reached out to him with a particularly messy issue and he called me right away, I think he said he was on a golf course, to let me know he would take care of it, which he did.
He was down-to-earth and amazing.
I sent Delta more than one "Kudos" email regarding Kevin.
RIP, my friend!

I met Kevin the first time at the Freddie Awards in Los Angeles before he assumed the position that made him famous to FlyerTalk. Even though his area (SkyTeam at the time) were outside of my concerns, he listened to me talk about the issues for over an hour. I met him a couple of times after that. He was definitely everything that is right about customer service. May he rest in peace.
