Yes - just realised I never mentioned it is KLM metal the whole way
Maybe it's a really discounted ticket (just tried finding the booking class but couldn't see it anywhere...) as with FB anyway, it'd only have been 7.8k total, and that's with about 2k of silver bonus. Over the summer we did Scotland to Brazil and back via the US each way, in business, and that ended up only as a bit over 10-12k in total for the whole trip with Delta (no bonus as I was not silver yet).
Anyway, sounds like if it's enough miles (hope the lady is correct!) then I should be ok, so fingers crossed!

You mentioned you're on KL metal the entire time. EDI-AMS-GRU will get you over 6000 MQMs, more than enough to get you to gold. Enjoy!

Just chiming in with my datapoint -- the reverse, I credit my DL flights to my Flying Blue account, and it takes about 2-3 days tops to credit the miles and subsequent status upgrade.

And, doesn't really apply to this trip, but SDC fees waived! (This is my favorite part of GM)

I flew the first leg to Rio yesterday. Phoned Delta to start processing it, but they said it can take 7-10 days (from today, not from when it was flown yesterday). I asked on their FB page and they said there is nothing more they do, they can't enter it manually or push it or anything, and they said the avg is 7-10 business days! Hoping it'll pop on over the next day or two!

Still nothing, two days after the flights. A KLM flight I had over summer was credited very fast, but it was labeled as delta so maybe that's why. The proper klm ones took much longer, but on the other hand, they've entered it manually so hopefully it'll speed up. Four days to go... :/

I haven't had a KLM or AF flight post in under 4 days in years; VS has been 5 days or more. It's annoying, to say the least--especially when it's a matter of getting the next level of medallion status.

Delta is standing by its 7-10 day story -- it's been well over 24hrs now and still says pending.
Delta also said status level changes only happen on a Saturday so the miles need to post by tomorrow effectively for Silver to change to Gold.
