Apparently various ways of tricking automated ticketing systems into potentially giving you better rates. First I've heard of it too, but a bit of googling found this:

FD = fuel dump = adding an extra flight leg/carrier/something to try and get the pricing engines to drop fuel surcharges from a final fare
3x = third strike = basically the same idea of hidden city ticketing; 3 segment itinerary where you "strike"/don't fly the last segment to try and get better pricing on a given route
I assume 1X = first strike? Where you don't fly the first segment? No idea how that would work though, as I'd expect your itinerary to be cancelled if you miss the first flight...
