"Annual Complimentary Status" gone?

I checked again this morning and now it says my 2017 Status is Silver Medallion.
So hopefully it was just a glitch, not somebody accidentally turning on a "benefit' a bit early

"Annual Complimentary Status" gone?
In my iPhone app my "2017 Status" currently shows as "Silver Medallion"... Above that, underneath where my name, SM number, and current miles are it properly shows my DM / SP / MM status. Edit: now that I think about it my 2017 Status is correct as it currently stands! Interesting that DL already has me thinking about 2017, lol...

Well, we're already a month into the earning period for MQSs, MQDs, and MQMs toward status for 2017, although some people have substantial MQMs due to rollover and don't need to worry about that dimension of the requirements.

I had same issue and called and chatted with the DM line agent. She indicated that the "Gold for Life" still applies IF you don't reach Gold for any year, however, it will not show as Gold until the beginning of next year. If you qualify for a higher elite level, you still get that.

When I read this thread this morning, my 2017 status as a 2MM was just "Skymiles Member". When I checked in this afternoon for my flight tomorrow, my status for 2017 is now "Gold". I guess the system had other priorities.

On delta.com go to My Delta and then click on View My Skymiles. MM balance is in the upper right.

I had the same thing. Also, as a 4MM Plat, I couldn't select a 2016 Choice Benefit. I called the Platinum line Tuesday. She checked with someone and said i would get an email by the end of the week. This afternoon, I'm now Plat in 2017 and was able to make a Choice Benefit selection.

It's good to know that "lifetime" PMs get their choice benefits. IIRC those who are comped/matched to PM do not.

Mine shows 2017 status as Silver, with way too few MQDs for anything yet (and no Amex waiver, either; I might try gaming the system this year for an extra year of DM).
