Dela 360 - Do I have what it takes?

Hey guys!

Heard a little bit about the double secret Delta 360 program above Diamond and I'm curious to see if I have what it takes to get an invite?

For 2015 I'm sitting on about 85k Rollover MQMs, 100k Credit Card MQMs, and 125k Flight MQMs for a total of 310K MQMs with about 80 segments (I usually fly direct) and $30k in spend with Delta. Only about a 1/2 Million Miler (c'mon give me a break I'm under 30)

Do I have any chance of being promoted into Delta 360? What data points are others posting for Delta 360 invites?

Since you can't spell Delta 360 correctly in the thread title, I'm positive that you don't have what it takes to become one.

I'm not privy to any details concerning the amount of spending required to make the program, but I suspect $30K is too low, especially in ATL. That's 3-4 R/Ts in full J overseas.

If you have to ask, you don't have it.

Playing in my mind right now is a Delta Agent from the VIP select program meeting me at the gate of my DCA to ATL flight and quickly ushering me across the tarmac in a Toyota Camry... no Porsche.

Fair enough. I'd blame it on the laptop keyboard, but let's all face it - we know the real reason... I'm secretly Dan Quayle!

you need about double what you have, I don't think the CC MQM's or your lifetime miles do anything for you. Its hard to say what they use but I can assure you it is a very high number and a lot more miles flown.

At MSP, there are days where I'd accept a ride in a baggage tug...in the middle of winter.

If the OP's $30,000 spend with DL includes a lot of bump vouchers, I would expect DL to discount the amount.

This comes to less than $0.25/mile, which is not what Delta has in mind when they think of high spenders.

Only about $1,200 is bump vouchers. Not much luck this year earning vouchers, maybe one from back in Feb.

I'm guessing that you most likely need to be north of $0.30/mile in MQD to qualify. You need to be doing a significant amount of paid international D1 travel or a lot of D1 transcon travel.

In 2014, I had 10 International log haul trips (5 Europe, 5 Asia), $60K MQD.

YMMV.

I imagine in ATL your spend has to be North of $75K unless you're a big-wig at Coca-Cola or something of that nature.

I'm sure different cities have different standards. Based in ATL you're flying DL for the most part unless you don't like seat assignments or connections.
