Base Miles Less Than MQMs on a Trip?

Effective Jan 1, 2015, Delta began awarding redeemable miles based on ticket price rather than distance flown. Lots of discussion here --

sure fly to Asia in y you are sure to get way way way less RDM them MQM.....in fact as a DM I get about 65% on average now......
