You sip it from spoons.

Slightly OT but the Wicked Thai Chicken and Rice Soup really is good isn't it? Not quite worth its own thread though. So I understand wanting a larger bowl. I have had two cups today - one in JFK SkyTerrace and one in ATL B10. Wonderful

So the normal FT question would be "what should I ask for as far as compensation" for the stress created by the SC attendant?

I know some kinds of soup that YOU MUST EAT unless you want to get to your gate on a stretcher or have a Heimlich maneuver performed by the soup dumper lady in front of one hundred cheering people with phone cameras.

Me too, but I wish SCs would be consistent and hygienic and offer wrapped snacks instead of serving crackers, popcorn, veggies, etc. in a way that almost invites people to stick their hands into the supply.

The SEA SC serves the soup so flipping hot that I use a second bowl as an insulator. Otherwise it would be too hot to carry back to my seat. AS serves soup in ceramic mugs with a handle which is much more comfortable and easy to carry. Just sayin'.....

Isn't the OP the same guy that was commenting about claiming the empty seat next to him in that thread?

That girl Karma is a b, and she works in the B25 SC to boot.

Seriously, this episode sucks. I probably would have filed a complaint.

.....and yet the soup that DL serves on board tends to be lukewarm. I've learned to always eat it first, before the salad when soup and salad are served at the same time.

I was at the skyclub in the A terminal last week. I was sitting up at the bar and at one point I mentioned to the bartender that I wished the popcorn bowls were bigger and she pointed over to the soup station and told me to use the soup bowls because they were larger. Seems like the attendant in the OP's case is just making up rules or not everyone has gotten the memo.
