HongKonger FT comment used in Outside Magazine
The February 2015 issue of Outside Magazine has an article on changing frequent flier programs. They have a call-out box with some comments from FT, including from one of our regulars, HongKonger. HK - curious if they contacted you for permission or just pulled some choice comments for the article? (Professional curiosity as a publicist.)

HongKonger... doesn't it give you a heady feeling the first time his happens? ^
But, of course, you know, this means not Porsche pick-up for you in your future

Well, I will go ahead and give the editors of SKY Magazine permission to quote me whenever they like. Although I have a feeling they would be promptly terminated using any of my material.

Great comment and so true. Ever since the merger it seems like DL has gotten less and less friendly to those overseas. The only exception is the MQD waiver but nearly impossible to get MQM with partners anymore unless you constantly fly to the US.

I didn't know about this until I saw this thread. Maybe I should send them a bill. I think Reader's Digest pays $50 if they publish your joke, what should an actual respectable publication pay?
Pretty cool I guess, but they should have recorded my ode to the SCs.

I'd gladly be subject to MQD in exchange for GUCs at the PM level and would even still be willing to buy YBM if I could get some old style SWUs. I'm dropping to FO this year and it's kind of liberating not caring anymore.

Dear Delta, I can only imagine how you felt when HongKonger used such foul language to describe you. As a offering good will, us here at Flyer Talk would like to send you a 2015 vintage bottle of Tears From Golds. You will taste hints of peanuts and pretzels along with the boquet of middle seats in row 30. We can't take back what Hongkonger said, but we can give you something you truly earned.
